In this video I am driving a mod of a Race07/GTR Evolution mod. It's the Mini Cooper from the GTL mod but I have used the 3200cc 6 cylinder engine from the 1976 BMW CSL including it's sound files. In my imagination this car is a space frame chassis with the engine at the back. The gear box is the 5 speed from the 1976 Ferrari 275 and the car is four wheel drive.
There is no music in this video (apart from the sweet music of the BMW 3200cc 6 cylinder engine, 370Nm Torque....whoohooo).
Question: Is it possible to have offline fun like this in GT Legends? In race07 you can play with teh .eng and .hdc and .grb files and servers are protected by cheating via file checks.

Yes you can. Mind you, GT Legends doesn´t have wings like GTR2 or RACE, all is done by mechanical grip.

Thanks. I will now buy GT Legends and put bigger engines in TC65 cars for offline fun. I liked the GT Legends demo. Especially the night racing.

In the race07 GTLmod I prefer the TC65 cars which have zero downforce and it is very funny when the game says "You have lost your rear wing" when all that has happened is the rear bumper has fallen off the Austin Mini, Jag MK2, etc.

You think to yourself "oh my what a shame" and you know there is no difference.

Also I think Simbin hate the GTLmod for Race07 and are trying to get people to stop using it because they are loosing revenue and GT Legends is a better game for these cars.

if you want to mod the cars and do onlineracing here on the servers, it's a good idea to make two seperate installations of the game... one for modding and a clean one for the altbierbude, with just the mods/updates of the autoupdater from here. Otherwise you may run into troubles..
