what does it mean connection failed: generic error?
Something regard the online key or my profile?

I'm new to GTL and I get the same message. What am I doing wrong?

For me it looks like a problem with your connection
It seems not to be a problem with your online key or profile.

When did you get the message? What did you before?

Did you run the Autoupdater before?

Hi All,


A friend of mine is having the same problem.

He now knows he entered the wrong online key number, but cannot get back to the same screen again to enter the correct key number.

He has uninstalled and reinstalled the game several times, but the screen does not come back.

When using the uninstall option on the CD, it still leaves reference to GTL on the hard drive, should this be manually removed?

If not, what should he do?

Please help my friend.

Edit or remove the key in your windows registry manually.
