Hi,
there is hard talk coming now but I just can't keep this inside any more. Please read the whole story or don't read at all.
Why is it always so hard for you Admins to give any information concerning "cancelled" events (compared to "fixed" Thursday/Sunday schedule) or even answer simple questions concerning them on forum?
If you can do those posters for every event it can't be more demanding to make a notice that there ain't no Thursday night event this week or for some time if that's the case.
That would be good service, wouldn't it?
If someone dares to ask for that, they get some stupid answers like "No, the event is not cancelled, it was not even announced" if they get any answer at all.
And if someone dares to critisise event posters that sometimes unfortunately leave space for speculation about which track layout or car is actually driven they get some childish answers like "Maybe I should retire" as well.
Giving such answers or not giving any doesn't help you with donations at all - members are glad to give them if they feel they get good service here but if they feel themselves neglected or even offended they stop giving them.
If you got too much work with our Admin tasks, why don't you try sharing the load by establishing new Vice-Admin posts - I think there are many capable persons around here who could and liked to help you, at least on holiday season.
I have now said some negative things but all the other things here I find well organised. It feels kind of stupid to whine about such little things but it is all the small things that make the whole package.
I feel sorry for not being capable to say all this in german but I hope you don't misinterprete me in any way.
My intention is not to stand against the good voluntarily people behind all this but to try to make this great site even better.
I'm always willing to help this community within my capability.
Now it is said, thank you for "listening".
Cheers,
Timo
