Schöne angekündigte Autos, aber was ist eigendlich aus dem Jaguar XJ-S geworden, der schon in den Car-Classes rumlungert. Sollte der nicht Anfang diesen Jahres im Autoupdater erscheinen?

When you test you will find that the big 1.7L Zakspeed Capri 1980 and 81 and the Zakspeed Mustang GTX/Gr5 are faster than any of the GT cars that are here at ABB. (The Zakspeed Mustang turbo and the 1981 1.7L Capri use the same Physics almost).

My target performance for these 1.7L cars was between 3 to 4 seconds a lap faster than the fastest IMSA GTX cars that we have done so far, and that would be the Corvette a car that is not at ABB, the Corvette is faster than the Monza and older mustang GTX by maybe a second depending on track of course.
The reason for this is that all the current GTX and Group-5 cars from us so far represent cars from 1976 to 78 early group-5 era (other than the Group-5 M1s but they were never very fast due to a big power disadvantage).
The team 21 935 represents the 1976 factory cars and the 1977 customer cars that were copies of the 76 car with only 585hp.
The Capri and the Mustang are the first cars so far of the later last 2 years of the Group-5 era.
These cars, the Capri and Mustang turbo raced with the Big 750+hp Porsches and the 800hp M1. The Mustang showed up here in the states and was faster than the M16, K3 935 and the big single turbo IMSA 935 and even the Lola T600 prototype at tighter tracks.
So when you test them this is why you find them faster than the cars we have now.

The later big Group-5 and IMSA Porsches and the M1 Turbo are under constrction and will be done soon many of these cars will also be as fast as the Zakspeed cars.
Porsches released for GTL will be from 1978 to 1981.
Also the Toyota Turbo DRM car However this is an early era car and not as fast as the Capri.


For the divison-2 cars the fastest 1981 ground effects car target is as fast as the 1978 GTX cars, In real life the DRM Division-2 cars in 1981 were turning lap times as fast or in some cases faster than the 1977 DIvision-1 935s the lap times go up (slower) from there as you go back in time each year down to the 1978 375hp car. Such was the incredible development pace of the DRM and Group-5 from 1976 to 1981.

Oh yea I did not mention that one, the Lancia Beta Turbo Div-2 and group-5 both.
Div-2 cars are heaver and a bit more power.
the Group-5 cars are lighter but have the boost turned down for the long WCM events.

Also the Escort DRM cars.

Auf den Capri freu ich mich auch.

Die Jaguars sehen fantastisch aus, finde für die Mod gibt es eh zu wenig Skins, dabei ist das so ein genialer Wagen, freue mich schon auf deine Skins.

Gibt auch noch ne Ausbaustufe!
