if i was going to learn the ring !!! in GTL/GTR2 or Rfactor what track would be best to learn, ie closest to the real track, so that if you were to drive the track for real you wouldn't kill yourself.

well to be quite honest, take a car similar to yours in real life. i would prefer gtl since it gives your better feel for the little bumps, and where you might have to expect loads of under and over steer.

But beware of the nordschleife.

i studied the track for months with car videos (mostly from same car as i have to learn better), racing line guides, sim racing and so on.

and when i then drove the first time on it (on a sunny and perfect day... ) it scared the sh*t out of in some corners. simply because the corners were "a bit" different from what i saw in the sims, or what i saw in the vids.

anyways, always treat the ring with respect and stay at 70% of what your can can do the first time.
