I have a amazing skills. I manage to create problems frequently.
My newest problem is this:
When I try to join Altbierbude server 1, it loads the track but when it starts to loading the players, it suddenly throws me out of the game altogether. So it closes the connection, and closes the game. And gives me the "windows is trying to find a solution" table.
And that is not all. When I try to join the other Altbierbude servers 2-6, it works fine and I can join them.

Third post from up. I have changed the file to look like the one in these pages and this odd problem has taken place.
Has anyone had problems joining the Altbierbude servers when making these changes to. PLR file?
I would be grateful if you could help me again.
p.s. Will try to make the change back and try the original PLR/FFB file

Hi Arppa,

if you changed the FFB settings correctly without touching any ohter areas in the PLR, there should be no problem.

If you can't join a server probably your game is not up to date. The Autoupdater should fix this.

I have changed the first line from this:
FFB Device Type="4" // Type of FFB controller: 0=none 1=wheel, 2=stick/custom, 3=rumble pad.

to this:

FFB Device Type="7" // Type of FFB controller: 0=none 1=wheel, 2=stick/custom, 3=rumble pad.

and it seems to work now.
I don´t know why.

No it did not cure itself after all. I joined earlier this day to Altbierbude server n:o 1 ok, but now later in the evening it loads the track but when it starts to load the drivers/players it throws me out of the internet server and closes the game altogether.
What is the cause for this? Help please!

i had the same problem today. My game was not up to date. (commodore update was missing)

I have the exact same problem as you and its been going on since Opel Commodore 2800 & 3000 came out.
This also happens when i am already in the server and racing on the track when i get booted out of the game completely and land on my desktop.
This not only happens on server 1 but with most of the other server except server 6 in which they race the turbo cars there.
What i have found is who ever enter the server with a Opel Commodore 3000, i'm booted right out of there. It's written that if a car is giving you problems, you re-download that car. So i re-download all of the Opel Commodore 2800 cars but i still get booted with the Opel 3000 cause i can't seem to find the download for the Opel 3000. Thought it was mixed in with the Opel 2800.
The Bude came out with updates on the Opel 2800 on Dec 20 and on Dec 24, they updated the Opel GS so i'm crossing my fingers and hoping this solves the problem.
In a very few occasion, i get booted the same way when i race TC-65 type cars but i havn't found the car to that yet.
I have downloaded the update on the Opel GS and i will do the reinstallion of all cars and tracks afterwards. Let you know if this works.

You need to update via autoupdater - the date of last update wasn't correct... there's an new one of the commodore....

Edit: Date is now corrected to the 24.12.10 - this update should be the soultion of your problem...

Since the update on the Opel Commodore, i have had no troubles getting into servers and no kicks to desktop.
Ty for this for i was about to pull my hair out.
