Lobby - dead server names 16 Years, 3 Months ago  
Hi,

Two of the GC GTL servers appear to be shown in the lobby, ( with player numbers "-1" ) even though the servers are not running.

When I try to start them up I get "A room with the same name already exists in the lobby. Cannot Broadcast to Lobby"

please help

I can't restart the lobby now.
But you can give them another name (as a quickfix).

Ok thanks, (I've restarted just the Mini League server, with a slightly different name)

seems fine

Did your server crashes?

If so, I have an idea where to improve the code. I will try to fix it between 7.00 pm and 8.00 pm. If somebody get kicked out from the game server or the server starts to reload the track, its me, restarting the lobby. Sorry for that.

I do not know if the server crashed or was rebooted (I will ask)

ok restart between 7 and 8 pm but is that GMT?

Our Mini league normally starts 8.00 pm GMT

Should I tell them to wait until 8.15 pm to be safe?

Having the ghost entries in the lobby is not a problem for us if you prefer to wait until tomorrow to fix

I do not know if the server crashed or was rebooted (I will ask)

It seems the servers were terminated normally (to free up bandwitdh)

That would have been early evening, do your logs show a later time for a potential crash?

Hi guys,

The "GC Add-on" server may have aborted or been rebooted yesterday (not sure which yet)

so the one in the lobby is a ghost,
(not urgent to fix )
