Hi All,

Just got my copy of Windows 7 today so I popped it on the computer with the words of everyone who I've spoken to about it echoeing in my head "If it works on Vista, it'll work on 7..."

Great for me because I was running GT legends on Vista and was looking forward to it working on 7...

BUT as soon as I'd installed, updated and started GTL windows came up saying that the Starforce protection driver was incompatible and would be blocked.

So I checked their website and it says that Starforce has received windows 7 certification and to updat the driver to 5.7 using their link, so I did.

However, same problem occurred even after updating the starforce driver, so i thought I'd do the honourable thing and download a cracked exe to get the game to work. 50mb of cracked exe and decompressor later, and the game runs!

But now I can't play online, even though I;ve put in my online key, it keeps giving me the error message "Maybe the server is running an updated version of the game..." or something to that effect. And also when I'm in single player mode whatever car I select, I get put in a GT-40...?!

So now I'm very confused and angry and could REALLY do with some help on this one! I miss GT-L and the ALtbierbude servers already

Did you install the patch version 1.1?

Yep that's the problem, because the starforce driver isn't working at the moment and I'm having to use a fixed EXE I think that's where all the problems are coming from...

In one of our gaming magazines (Computerbild Spiele), there was GT Legends as full version included on DVD.

This version do not have any starfoce driver and works without CD.

You can order a copy of the magazine from here. It is magazine 09/09

The problem is: they are only shipping to Germany, Austria, Switzerland.

Tahnks for the message but you are right, I can't get it shipped over to England if you could get hold of a copy for me I would gladly Paypal or bank transfer you the money for the magazine and shipping to get it to the UK...! Private message me if you would like my details...

Shame that starforce hasn't released full compatability drivers for 7
