Online Key 3 Years, 6 Months ago  
Hi all,

I had GTL many years ago, but have lost the install CD in a recent house move. I stumbled across this site today, and thought I'd race tonight if possible. But I'm stuck at the online serial key screen.

Is there a way to access the lobby without a serial? Or a way to get a key online? I know there was the Computer Bild link several years ago, but that seems to have long gone.

Hello,

do you remember your old lobby name? So the name of the lobby account, not from the homepage? Maybe then I can find your old online key. Otherwise you can buy GTL for little money on Steam and then use the product key (=Onlinekey) from there.

I could not find an old account unfortunately. Probably you still had it in the old Simbim Lobby.

OK thanks. Looks like i'm off to purchase a key, then.

On a separate note, im running the updater as we speak, with 2000 odd files to download. Is there a way to only download the files i need for the race tonight, rather than all of them? I fear at this rate i'll be downloading all night rather than racing :|

Theoretically, this is possible. You need Watkins 67 as Racetrack, the F1 67 as Mod and our Carclasses. You can find everything manually under downloads
