I hear his engine more than mine (actually cant hear mine) when he's close to me.
I have other cars sound very low.

¿Any easy fix?

Is this happening only with my car. What about Schwamerl and Blaubar? If it's somehow related to the skin, i can change it.

Zero problems with blaubar or schwamerl´s car...

If the admins are OK i will take Schwamerls car as we are driving in different servers.

I entered twice to the server and it worked but, there isnt another solution for loud dimitars car?

Ich hatte das Problem auch mal mit Schwammerl, seine Kiste war so laut, dass man weder sein eigenes, noch andere Autos gehört hat.

I fear there isn't...

After some tries relating to the Beetle Mod that problem remaind with several other cars. And funny you mentioned the Datsun, your Commodore was for me a loud one too.

Last weekend I gave it a try and detuned the WAV-Files of the cars with the loudest sounds.

There are some tools out there which let you to adjust the volume of Sound-Files.

Because I had not that much time in hand I simply put all the WAV-Files of that cars through a programm called The Levelater (for German readers DON'T download it from the site of the newspaper with the BIG LETTERS!!! Their download tool seems to have a maleware on board... aber wie heißt es so schön: Bild Dir Deine eigene Meinung!)

...and it worked.

To do it properly and if you have time:

- make a copy of your sound files (just in case)
- go to the cars folder an look in the CAR-File which AUD-file is valid
- open the AUD-File of that car
- look for the OUTSIDE sounds
- identify those WAV-Files
- turn the volume done of those sound-files with a tool of your choice

Yes there are cars with too loud sounds. For example i thing the little Gianninnis have it as well.

wäre es nicht das Einfachste die sound datei von nem anderen Datsun zu nehmen? Kann man glaube ich auch selbst machen aber besser wäre es wenn das für alle gleich erfolgt und über den Autoupdater läuft.

The first two cars your game loads can be extremely louder than normal.

I think there is no real solution to this.
Ok, the louder car can rejoin, should works for all who stay on the server.
But who join new has the same.. the first loaded car is louder..

Yesterday on server 1 was Frankes 911 RSR extrem loud.
He had in logfile "slot00" and was the first on the server.
