"error [7] changed physics" running updater? 16 Years, 2 Months ago  
when I try to run the autoupdater I get this message & nothing happens

I haven't changed anything in my GTL install

pretty sure the last thing I downloaded was the new CSL turbo, via autoupdate

are there any files in the CSL mod that would make it detect a change? is this happening to anyone else?

Once more again...

If you have cars with modified physics in your installation the autoupdater is going to stop his services. We don't want to see a Detomaso or Chevy with much more power on track. You can do that a home but if you want to drive on the Bude servers it is best do create a clean Bude GTL installation.

Your installation is not clean and the CSL mod is not the reason.

hello,
I also have the same problem.
I have not changed the physics of any car, and I deleted the folders OPEL GT, BMW CSL gr.5 and Turbo and 2800 BMW CSL, which are the last one I downloaded. (to be honest from GTR4U)
Despite this the AutoUpdater still does not work.
How can I determine what's in the game that has undergone a change (unintentional) of physics?

I believe that my request had been made taking into account the written kungpfui, repetition is quite useless.



how can I do to find things with physics changed?
there is a way or should I reinstall everything?

Best way is do uninstall GTLegends and all installed mods and reinstall GT Legends and just install all "Altbierbude"-files. So it is a clean Bude-installation.

If you want to use other mods, install a second version of GTLegends (you can rename it maybe "GTLegends mods" ) and use all other mods for it.

That's what I do. i have 3 installs of GTL. One is JUST for the 'bude.

Hi. I'm having the same issue, so am about to perform a reinstall.

Before I do... please can someonee post step by step tips so that I do not lose my original essential settings (online player data, steering wheel settings etc etc).

I haven't reinstalled GTL for 4 years, so am afraid of losing something important!

Hy,
you need to "save" your profile in the GTL Folder/ User Data/ your profile. Copy this folder into a place where you can take it after a new installation. Install GTL new, then run the Autoupdater ( new installation) and copy your old saved profile into the "user Data Folder".
That´s it!

Thanks for the swift reply.

Before I go ahead, can I check 2 things:
- Do I need to 'Uninstall' GTL first? Or can I just do a new install over the old one into the existing folder?
- My install disc is GTL v.1.0.0.0. I seem to remeber that there are patches for newre vesions than that - where can I get them from?

Copy and backup your user profile in UserData-folder, uninstall the complete game, also delete rests of the GTL-folder.

Reinstall the game, google for and install the patch V1.1, copy your saved user profile into userdata folder and then start the autoupdater to get all addons.

that´s it.

u should use this installation for the Altbierbude only. For mods of other communities, make a second install.
