Google doesnt translate the page. Where do I place the "en.py" files? great idea having a auto-updater. There was one for skins I had seen awhile back.

Just replace the old script through one of the files with the "en" ending. That one with the "car" enhancement is a reduced script which updates the cars only. Maybe not useful for you as regular driver.
The answer of your question is: same folder as the old one .

As a newbie I thought I would try and get online but of course I get the flashing name problem.
I've since found out that I need cars and track.

To download every car is a nightmare as I have many in game already but nolonger have the zip files I really don't want to start over.

There is an explanation but only written in German. At the moment the English speaking fraction is a little bit discremenated regarding the auto-update script.

Here a short description just for you:
1st: Download and install the python interpreter.
2nd: Download the script. Extract one of the files into a folder of your choice. Make sure you have enough free space (~4GB ) and doubleclick the script. You can find the current script and some descriptions here.
That's not only an update - that's the full version.

My next task will be the translation of the full description into English, so be patient or learn German.
