Compare the window frames from a, for instance Porsche 935, Nissan Skyline or NSU TT and compare it with the window frame of the Renault 8 G and then you can suspect why.
It dosen't come any more edgy than this
The 3D model of the R8 uses far too less polygones.

In my short time here on the Bude, i'm sure the bude won't let the 935 continue racing on it own when now the 917 can race with it. I'll be very surprise if it didn't.

All thou the 917 is faster than the 935.

It will be like a Xmas day when the 917 is ready for the Bude....well errrr....for me anyways.

IMO, the 917K is a incredible car, simply incredible

In this condition, I do not support an implementation into the Bude servers.

I mean, I have not all rights to decide those things, but without my agreement.

The physics may be ok, but the 3d modell is not on GTL standards with a lot of faults.

So try to find someone who fix the model and add some details and we can have a look again.

I agree with BigRon,

Just look down at the hole in the floor where the drivers feet go for only one instance of an unfinished car... you can see the track through it.

I run a Mod club for this type of car to give you guys a chance to race machines like this online. See the Saturday Midnight Racers on the English part of the forum.

I was going to run this car this Saturday but instead I cancelled the meeting due to the Bude putting an event on only half an hour after mine would have started.

Maybe I can do this the following Saturday unless the Bude Admin have something else planned for this time.

I'm open to car & track suggestions so please contact me by PM if you have any ideas.

It is so simple and easy when the thread as in this case is in English so what exactly are you implying?

If the thread had been in German and I had used a translator then the outcome can be the reverse of what is actually being said.

Well .. I think it's a shame that the 917 isn't allowed on the Bude- servers. I don't have those graphic problems in my cockpit view (no arms/feet, no steeringwheel visible, etc.) ... it's a nice challenge to run this car online, physics are great. I would also like to see Butch's Bizzarini (sigh) ...

It doesn't matter how great your computer is, the plain fact is that the car is not ready for the Bude yet and alo they do not have permission to use the car on their server... and that is a very important factor in itself.

But have patience as I'm sure the Bude will run the car when it has been improved graphically etc.
