in Curitiba habe ich sehr wenig fps. Liegt das an meinem PC oder ist das normal?

ob es Dein PC ist, kommt drauf an, was es für einer ist!

Bei manchen Strecken habe ich da auch meine Probs, so wie heute beim Event auf Server 3 (Lakeside), online max. 25-35fps, offline ca. 45fps!!

Einstelllungen im Menü Grafik:
Details Spielerfahrzeug: Mittel
Details Fremdfahrzeuge: Niedrig
Details Strecke: Hoch
Spezialeffekte: Niedrig
Schatten: AUS
Sichtweite: Normal
Scheinwerfereffekte: Hoch
Keine Animierten Fahrer
Keine Zuschauer

Ich habe einen 7 Jahre(!!!) alten PC, mit folgender Ausstattung:
Mainboard: Chaintech 7VJL Apogee (FSB 133MHz)
Prozessor: Athlon 1700xp (1533MHz)
Grafik: ATI Radeon 9600 Atlantis (4x AGP, 256M
RAM: 1,5 GB (SD-DDR, 266MHZ, Typ PC2700)
OS: Windows 2000 Pro
Festplatte: IDE von Western Digital, mit 40GB (5400 Upm)

Kann also online leidlich fahren!

Allgemein wird empfohlen, Online die Einstellung "ISDN", für den Zugang zu den Buden-Servern zu verwenden (auch wenn du DSL hast).

Bin dabei, Infos aller Art im "Hilfe für Anfänger"-Thread zu sammeln, um eine entsprechende Kurzanleitung für Rookies zu erstellen. Vielleicht sollte man diese Frage ja nach dort verschieben lassen, da evtl. dadurch ein paar weitere Tips zusammen kommen!?

mein PC ist ziemlich neu, Quadcore 6600, 2 GB RAM, Geforce 8800 GTX, Vista.
Normal habe ich zwischen 80 und 200 fps, Auflösung 1920*1200, Grafik alles was geht.
Deswegen wundere ich mich, daß diese Strecke so ruckelt.
Scheint bis jetzt die einzige zu sein, übrigens auch offline.
Wieso soll man denn ISDN statt DSL einstellen?

Your problem may simply be automatic updates or a spyware or addware scan was being run by your computer at that time or maybe you were downloading music or other files at the same time.

I know from past experience that these really slow the game down, freeze the game, and even change your screen from you racing to sitting looking at the computer desktop screen arghhhhh noooooooo!

Make sure your automatic updates and schedules for any scanning are set to take place before a you race!

Good afternoon Gordon,

i have this problem only on this track until now, online and offline.
Virus scanner and similar programs were turned off and on,
no better results.
Thought it could be the track, although i see no differences in graphics or so to other tracks.
Toban looks much better, i think, and runs very smooth with lot more fps.

Hmmm, wait and drink a cup of tea, hehe

Hello Mr. Cleese, sorry I mean Peter,

If it is happening off line also then it must be to do with your graphics set up and the worst offender is the shadow setting on GTL options. I run my computer with graphics on full for everything but I turn shadows down to medium as the odd track I get bad FPS otherwise. Try this or less than medium and see if it works.

Hallo zusammen,

gestern (04.10.2013) gefahren auf Shannonville Long (Server 5) mit Porsche 934.
Bei mir ruckelt die Strecke leider, sodass ich nicht weiss, ob das Bild mal wieder stockt oder mir der Wagen gleich ausbricht.
Wie läuft die Strecke bei Euch?
