I have a little problem, any help would be muchly appreciated.

I was getting "GAMEDATA/GTC-SIM.....abweichung"
when I joined the server and booted if there was many players.

So I took advice to install the cbs version and now after Unistall GTL
Reinstall GTL
Install v1.1
Extract No DVD files

Game works again, starts up quick, goes into lobby but wont join server at all now. Says "game modified" or something like that.

I then extracted the Classes3.2 again but no difference.

Also checked registering - says username exists.

Also not fixed - cannot select Opel for offline racing.

As far as I can tell, the CBS Version is 1.1 already, no need to install update and you dont need a No-DVD patch as it runs without DVD already.

ah yes, what am I on about, it wasnt the cbs version I installed just my original dvd.

maybe then I must get the cbs version?

if so, where from I wonder?

also can you use your original key with a copy of the cbs version?

No, you dont need the CBS version.

You need the no CD Patch for your DVD version, google will help you.

I have installed the nocd patch and everything works except joining server and using latest cars offline

Try to reinstall all files via Autoupdater. Then it should work.

found the reinstall button in the updater and it seems to have fixed it all, wooohoo.

there were actually a lot of cars I didnt have even though the updater had been telling me "no new files".
