Hi all and thanks for putting this happy little place together. I was bombing around at Laguna last nite when I encountered the loopback. I fled to the lobby and Mirling filled me in on the deal. So I jumped straight over here and got the deets. I am in the process of grabbing carsets 1-9 and am wondering if the "newbie pack" is just the first carset? Or am I missing something. Hello also to Chris/Forsythe, I am also in Canada, and look forward to some excellent online racing with some dedicated and professional drivers. BTW, I am running this on a laptop (AMD 64, 1.8, 1gig RAM, 128 mb ATI Xpress 200m shared, 80 GB HD, XP sp2) and using a gamepad. Framerate seems ok, but I am not big on in game chat, so if I nudge you in a corner just know it was not intentional. I am usually way too busy to look for the correct macro button, so I probably won't say anything. But I watch my mirrors like a champ, and my ears are good. Should have the rest of these carsets by the end of the day, and can't wait to get back on track. Cheers.

Hello and welcome to our happy little fold.

The car packs 1 thro 9, download and install, but also keep your eyes open for the &quot; latest cars &quot;
up on the right hand side of the home page.
You will need to download and install these too.

The tracks, there's so many, best way is to download and install what is &quot; currently &quot; running
on the server then you can be sure you're going to be ok.
Again, look for the &quot; latest tracks &quot; on the home page, some are new and some are updates.

I'm in the UK, but like to get on the site when it's quiet in the early hours,
so you'll most likely see quite a bit of me.

The site, it's just fabulous, and the drivers I've raced with upto yet are pleasure to drive with.

I'm sure you'll spend many a happy hour here with us, good luck, and I'll see you on the track later.

Cheers for that. It's what I figured regarding the carsets, thought I had done good and went back online only to find the same problem. GRR. So I came back here and found that I had missed the Escort beer series and that 2 of the drivers in the race were using those cars. Figures. That just arrived so I'm going to throw them in and then hopefully I can actually drive a bit today! Yippee!
