Hallo zusammen.

Auf der Seite mit der nicht vorhanden Straßenhaftung wurde ein V8 Mod von "Crocko 05" veröffentlicht.

Unter anderem betrifft das unseren BMW CSL #5 Qantas.

Mal abgesehen davon, dass mir bis vorgestern nicht bekannt war, dass "mein" CSL einer größeren Herz-OP unterzogen werden soll, sorgt dieser Mod für etwas Verwirrung.

Allen, die diesen Mod installiert haben, wird der ursprüngliche #5 mit 6 Zylindern im Grid wohl auch als V8 angezeigt. Was z.B. am Montag im Rookie-Club die Frage aufkommen ließ, warum ich denn mit dem V8 fahren würde, obwohl ich den nicht mal installiert hatte.

Also, bitte auf der Budeninstallation die Finger vonne wech lassen.

na, dann werden wohl ab jetzt die csl-fahrer strenge kontrollen über sich ergehen lassen müssen.

Ist in meinen Augen sowieso ein Nogo die Budeninstall mit irgendwelchen Mods zu verunreinigen.
Kommt eh in nicht allzu langer Zeit der Turbo-CSL.

Yes some of the modded cars are a bit poorly presented but there are some good ones that are lots of fun.

I agree strongly with Micha that these cars should not be mixed when your online with the Bude unless these cars are ones that can be dowloaded with the Autoupdater.

I have more than one GTL install so that I can keep one with only default and Bude cars on it and another with default and modded cars on it and it is soooo very easy to do.

1...Rename your GTL folder to GTL Bude
2...Install GTL again,this does not take long
3...Don't forget to also install the 1.1 patch!
4...Rename this new install GTL Mods or something like that.
5...You can rename the original install back to just GTL if you wish or even install yet another GTL!
6...Put all of your modded cars onto the GTL Mod install now and in the future.

You will now have a GTL for the Bude and a GTL for the Sloppy Clubs and offline racing.

Hey Geedee, I like your idea and will have a go at creating a second install as I do like the Crocko 05 Capri V8 as something to have a blast with. I seldome drive anything other than that for offline amusement anyway.

I hope once I get it all going to see you all online.! Having not done any racing online before I am sure it will be a good learning experience?
