@ Micha,
Well said my friend. I too have been watching formula one since the mid eighties and I have known for a long time that F1 has many cheats in it an non more so than Ferrari as you say.
Like you, I have not been much of a Michael Schumacher fan as he drives too hard and unfair in such a dangerous sport and he has been allowed to get away with so much that other drivers have been heavily peanalised for.
To be honest I think the sport started into its decline when Max Mosely was president of the FIA. I really dislike that guy and could never trust him to make a decent decision.
Yes, Bernie Eccleston does appear to be very much in control of the F1 circus and in more ways than perhaps he should be.
It's sad to see what was such a great sport have so many negative issues about it but I guess that this on reflects the money grabbing time that we live in at the moment.
I actually stopped watching F1 for about 4 years as I was always falling asleep during the race... yes really, and I was very annoyed at Ferrari and Shumies antics!! I started to watch it again this year but it really does seem to be more stage managed than it ever was before and I have not ben that impressed with what is supposed to be the pinnacle of motor sport.
I doubt that it will ever get back to being the great sport it was and that is such a damn shame.
Gee
