Beide Haarnadelkurven, sowie die letzte Linkskurve vor Start/Ziel und die erste Linkskurve nach Start/Ziel werden von ganz schlauen als Spurschiene benutzt...

Ich hasse es zu petzen, aber ich sehe das Spiel als Simulation.

Ich habe mir das gerade auch nochmal in der Wiederholung angeschaut. Interessant, was so alles geht... Ich schließe mich da Moorhuhns Meinung an - wir spielen hier kein NFS, sondern fahren eine wunderbare Simulation. Daher sollte man die auf diese Weise erziehlte Zeit mal überdenken... Zumal diese um die genannten 3 Sekunden schneller ist als die Bestzeiten von den allseits bekannten Langsamfahrern Moorhuhn, adnam und Waldfeee...

I agree with you guys that this is a simulation, therefore using the guard rails on hairpins or any part of the track like that is unfair and unsporting.

Perhaps DerDumeklemmer could put cut warning penalties in these places so that if they are taken too quickly the penalties are given thus spoiling the the lap.

Also these crazy times need adjusting to be slower by a good 10 secs I would think.

I re-watched the video of last nights Preluk race!!

YES it is obvious that the guard rails are being used as a cheat.!

But only when no other car can see what is going on, when other cars are in view, the driving style is normal.

The qualifying was much more interesting...
During race, it didn't work so well.

But I have the impression, that this wasn't the only driver railing along.

Same thing happened at Vayline in the first version... some times are surely still from this period...

hab das replay von preluk runtergeladen.
Erstaunlich zu sehen, wie konsequent sich cosworth,der doch eigentlich ein sauschneller fahrer ist, in den kurven anlehnt. Wobei das anlehnen an die leitplanken eher wenig bis nichts bringt denk ich, das in den haarnadelkurven aber schon. Hier wär ein update mit mehr bremswirkung der strohballen schön.

Schnelle zeiten gehen auch ohne diese technik - die meisten bestzeiten sind wohl normal erzielt worden, abert ist doch etwas irritierend bei einem schnellen fahrer solche tricks zu sehen.

Um das Thema eines anderen Threads hier mit einzubringen:
Ich glaube cosworth hat das aus audiophilen Gründen gemacht. Die Motorsounds in GTL sind, wie weitläufig bekannt so abgrundtief unrealistisch und beschissen, daß man sich förmlich gezwungen sehen muß an den Leitplanken entlangzuschrammen, um nur annähernd einen kreischenden, schreienden und halbwegs authentischen Motorsound zu erreichen. Da muß ich jetzt daher kommen und euch da drauf bringen.
Ich nehme jetzt auch jede sich mir bietende Leitplanke mit, damit der unglaublich lächerliche Motorsound nur ein kleines bißchen realistischer erscheint. Ich kann gar nicht mehr fahren ohne, seit ich um diesen gigantischen Lapsus in GTL weiß. Gerüchte besagen sogar, daß ein gewisser K.T. sich vor einen Kadett C Coupé geworfen haben soll. Wer kann schon mit dieser Schande leben ... wo hab' ich jetzt das Arsen hingestellt .... könnte mich auch mit Benzin übergießen, das wäre wenigstens standesgemäß ... oder doch vielleicht vor einen BMW? .... hmmmmmmmmmmm

Dieses Posting wurde noch vor Saschas Entschuldigung erstellt und es war außerdem zu verführerisch! Übertreibung ist übrigens ein gern verwendetes Stilmittel der Satire. Als "Agro-Posting" war das nicht gedacht und hat Manowar was mit dem Kadett C zu tun?? (Ist trotzdem keine Musik!)
Und ja, der Thread endete versöhnlich und ich bin auch keineswegs nachtragend.

hi. was kann man also tun? leitplankenanlehner etc. aus der rangliste nehmen? wäre eine idee, oder? und wie schon erwähnt, diverse streckenupdates vornehmen. kann man eigentlich am schadensmodell noch etwas feilen? wäre auch schön. gruß, mk.

I drove that track for more than 1000 laps, but it never crossed my mind to use the "hay bales" that way LOL
I thought that it would be a "LOTTO spiel" to finish a race on that track, also without damaging Your car into the guardrails...

...I`ll keep that in mind for the upcoming tracks

My mistake, sorry guys...
prepare Yourself for a lot of light poles and casual track side objects in the future
(...but anyway, who cares abut lap records ?!? 90% of them are made by some sort of cheating, corner cutting or similar moves...)
...we are not racing for money guys, just keep that in mind when You login, and everybody will have much more fun!

We have enough work to do on the tracks also without thinking about possible cheaters!
-If the game doesn`t aloud a "Haybale" to act as a real haybale, but it unmistakeably looks like one, please respect that and avoid it if possible. ( I spent a fair amount of time making it look as one )

I have tested the track few minutes ago, and don`t know how to say what I have in my mind without offending anyone... (in particular You Uwe!)

...That wall after the start/finish line...(where few ACES lost their lives)
...the skewed guardrail... (that looks so unnatural)
...the missing "opel, bully, fire truck"... (although You can crash into them)


This is not Preluk anymore!

...all because of a Cheater ?!?!?...

Come on, let him suffocate with his best lap, who cares, his pleasure...

...don`t know what to say...
