Finally, after only 7 years, Ford Anglias arrive in GTL!

Anglias have featured in Motorsport in all sorts of classes and guises throughout
the 60's and 70's (and beyond...) and i've tried to make a varied selection of
car's that are typical of that era.
Of the 10 cars included all are real except #24 and are mainly 997's with
a 1200 and a couple of Twin Cams thrown in. This is a conversion of
Sharpo's car originally released for Rally Trophy and is based around the
Lotus Cortinas but with changes to engines, gearboxes and weights which is
why i've called it version 0.90 as i don't consider it complete as yet.

If anyone wants to sort out proper physics and engines or make a much
needed 'Bubble Arched' version of the body please let me know.

Huge thanks to Paul (Sharpo) for allowing me to convert his Anglia to GTL
and also for making the templates which made my life so much easier!

Big thanks to Papag21, Iain T, Nig, Carface and Simbin for the various wheels,
grill and bits of Escort TC radiator that are on the cars.
Thanks also to Ville31 for beta testing.
There's no known issues other than the LCD Timer is not working on one of
my installs but it's been fine on the others so i think that's a problem my end.
To install, unpack the rar file to a temporary folder, open up
'GTL_Ford_Anglias' and copy the 'GameData' folder into your main GTL install
and click 'Yes' to 'Overwrite?'
All the cars will appear in TC65.
The 997's are tied to the Abarth 1000 TC, the 1200's are tied to the
Mini Coopers and the Twin Cam's are paired with the Lotus Cortinas.
Any improvements to the mod are welcome! You can contact me at NoGrip if
you've any ideas or suggestions to make it better.

Well I am happy that the steering wheel IS ON THE RIGHT SIDE as right is right and left should be left out, he he!!!

Let's have more cars with this configuration!

To be honest I don't care which side the steering wheel is on as I can use a mirror and drive in reverse if I need to!

Last night I tried Ford Anglia (5 laps race) but during the pitstop I had a problem:

I could not find the buttons to add water and oil...

Is all exhaust gas white smoke unrealistic?

Ich bin den Wagen jetzt auch mal ein paar Runden gefahren. Und zwar den mit der größten Leistung von den drei Varianten. Alle Achtung !! Das ist ja ein richtiger Alfa Schreck. Er kommt mir fast ein bißchen zu schnell vor.
War der Ford in Wirklichkeit wirklich so schnell? Traut man ihm von außen zumindest nicht zu.
Ich glaube, wenn die richtig schnellen Jungs damit fahren wird so manche TC 65er Bestzeit fallen.
Fährt sich auf jeden Fall sehr angenehm, der kleine Wolf im Schafspelz und ist eine Bereicherung für die Bude
Aber vielleicht sollte man Ihn ein bißchen einbremsen.

Bin letzten zufällig drauf gestoßen und habe ein paar Runde gedreht.

Schönes Auto das Spaß macht zu fahren.

Wiegt ja fast nix, genau meine Liga die kleinen.

Danke für den tollen Mod, ich glaube ich muss ihn direkt noch mal testen.

7 Jahre, Respekt. Die Erbauer müssen ja quasi direkt nach dem GTL Release begonnen haben. Der Titel ist doch von 2005.

Wird der 7. Geburtstag hier gefeiert oder war der schon ?
