what happen when you use the view change button? -> do you try to assign the button?
what do you mean "cant see my hood"?

spontaneous i think about the difficulty setting in your player profile. Its set to Profi?

didnt recognize your black stripe problem. sounds like a graphic issue.
everything is set right at the config.exe?
switch to a higher detail level(for your car) in the graphic options ingame.

After having tested several resolutions, nothing happens.
I have a button programmed on the change of view, it actually changes the views, but it does not switch to cockpit view or exterior view and always lets this black bar appear. I specify that even without the 16 / 9th it is the same thing.

first for best results you should use the native resolution of your Monitor in gtl. May be that solves your problem. To see the Hud in cockpit view you have to allow it.

I think you use windows 10 - the best way ist to start gtl as administrator. If you do so you have to start the gtlconfig as administrator too.

I forgot: you have to leave the pit area to test the view changes, sometimes the changes only work if you are on the track behind the green lights,flag.

maybe you have to run the config.exe as a non administrator first and then again as administrator.
