New User to GTL...fanatec 2.5 wheelbase....the steering is awful...any help with getting it working with some FFb and not the horrendous dead zone?

Have you already tried the "Reverse Effects" checkbox in the Force Feedback settings (Controls - Controller Force)?
What you're describing sounds a lot like what I get if I were to leave that unchecked.

yep, i inserted the settings from further down the the thread, and its much improved...and this included ticking the reverse settings...cheers
