Sorry to bother you with my problems...

20 minutes ago I launched GT Legends and I had to re-enter the online key. I retiped the key but I can't reach the server (problem listed: generic error).

Then I tried the offline game and whatever model of car I choose the game selected me only the GT 40.
So I deleted my driver profile (stiiv70) and created a new profile with the same name.
Now I can freely choose the car in the offline game but when i try to go to the online game the server still replays with "generic error".

Can you help me to solve the problem?

I did it the new registration with the ID and password used for the old account, and i reach regulary the website.
But I have problems to join the multiplayer game on GTL (the usual "generic error".
I have tried also to redo the registration on GTL but, I think correctly, the server reply "account already in use".

Today, in the single player mode, I've tried to download some setups from the server and the validation to reach the server works.

At this point I ask you if the problem is connected with some files of the game?

I had modified nothing after the problem occured last week, I swear!!!

I had the same problem with the Ford GT always being selected after I went online. I eventually cured it by using the Altbierbude updater and with 'Tweaks' I re-entered the online key adding dashes between the groups of letters/numbers. I've had no problems since. (Seven groups of 4 letters/numbers, separated by - )

It happened again!

On sunday I fixed the problem (with the help of Michaw ) and on monday I raced normally.
Yesterday the game asked me again the on-line key, I entered the code and the problem raised again (when i try to download setups the validation of my lobby is however positive).
I tried to enter the dashes in the Altbierbude tweaks, as suggested by Zhabid, but when I press the button "fix key" it does not save the changes.
In the past months sometimes the game asked me the online key but once entered I had no problem to join the server.
I can't understand what can be changed in the game configuration, I haven't modified anything.

Just to clarify; did you re-install GTL before re-entering your GTL online key (with dashes) using the Altbierbude autoupdater? Adding the dashes to the key does not cure the problem as such, hence the need to re-install GTL, but if you redo the key after re-installing and before you go online, it should prevent the fault from occurring - at least, that's what it did for me. Note: if you look at the key after you have clicked on the 'Set Key' button, the dashes will have disappeared - don't know what it does, but it did work for me.

Although I bought the game through Steam eight months ago, I do use a no-steam mod.
