Having installed the autoupdater once successfully and downloaded all the cars and tracks it stopped working after a windows update. Removed the three sets of data and reloaded them 3 times and get the same messages each time -

My Firewall informs me My PC is being attacked by a DOS command and puts it into the prohibited file. Then when I run the updater it asks if I want to download tracks but when I click YES it just appears to lock-up and do nothing. Then tried to access the track through the normal download but it would not open (I was signed on at the time).

Given it looks as if the python prog isnt comparible with Windows Vista where do I store the track downloads I have acquired since removing the Python prog. Do I put them into the Locations folder in GTL or do I put them into the Autoupdater folder.

The last time autoupdate ran it advised three downloads were available:
Monza88
Pace Park update
and NoS2007_GTLV221_RC3.zip I have downloaded the first two but what/where is the third

i cant help you with windows vista problems. i have xp.

but i can help you with the available tracks.the nordschleife track is on a seperate server, that is controlled by derdumeklemmer. this track is a beta version and the server is password protected and you have to contact him to get permission to download it.

keep cool, your problems with vista will be solved, soon. enough cracks here

Thanks Ron, I am content to download the data each day if needs be but as I asked in my first post "Do I put them into the Locations folder in GTL or do I put them into the Autoupdater folder."

The downloaded cars and tracks were put in the archive and then installed in your game by the autoupdater himself.
