Well i started learning the track just 3-4 hours before the event but didn't expected to be fast here... Right after the first few corners with the Mazda i knew it was going to be very fun.
For the first qualifying i was able to take P3 as i was still learning the circuit. At the start i lost 1 position and few more after mistake right after the downhill at the beginning. After that i was able to drive consistent and after few drive made a mistakes i took the lead and had 8-9 seconds lead. After me was the fastest driver, sorry i can't remember the name
) as he was definitely faster and could have catch me few laps before the end. And after i was preparing for big fight for my first win in the German leagues my internet just stopped...
For race 2 i had more pace as i took off some litters from the car because for race 1 i had fuel for 14-15 laps. But i totally didn't expected to beat the Server record here... I made one perfect lap and the timer was stopped at 3:20.275.
This was the moment were i started thinking about the win here as the winner from race 1 was absent unfortunately.
The start was better for me based on race 1's start but AGM just flied from P4 at took the lead. We had great battle and chase for few corners but his car had understeer and i was able to attack and pass him at the middle of lap 1. Until lap 6 i had now 10 seconds lead and after that it was easy for me to monitor the pace and gap to P2 without making risks.
At the end i am very delighted with my first win here as i was thinking not to drive today looking at the track's map, but i told my self - "Just try one lap here and see what will happen".
I can easily say that i love forest circuits as i am Nordschleife fan as well.
