Good post.I personally wouldn't change the start gaps in the team event 8h. It's a special event and having to come back from lost time by a team member is a special treat. In doing so you meet both faster cars who are doing the same and slower cars and drivers and I like that. When you run up to a slower team but their car is in front it makes racing interesting and sometimes that driver decides to let you by because it saves both time and risks. Both is good imho.

The start procedure with the lights could be improved . JUst try it out in a practice run where the admin types the next name to go as Alvaro says.

If a new points system would bring teams closer together in the standings and give more teams a cjhance to win I'd be all for that.I understand the purpose of the 'finish in the same lap'but in some tracks it's almost impossible not to lose a lap because of weights and teams with less pitstops. At first glance I like Alvaro's suggestion for points.
