                      Beim Stöbern auf der rutschigen Site fand ich einen für mich sehr interessanten Artikel über die Auswirkungen von zu vielen Mipmaps, wie es ja bei vielen Standalones(auch bei meinem) der Fall ist oder war. http://www.nogripracing.com/forum/showthread.php? t=26073

                      Der Zusammenhang von Performance-Einbrüchen und zu vielen Mipmaps war mir bis jetzt gar nicht bewußt.

                      Das geht Hand in Hand mit den LODs (Levles Of Detail) der Modelle. Wenn ein Auto fünf LODs hat, dann braucht es auch fünf Mipmaplevels, sonst gibt es im Spiel Probleme (Lag) und für einige Leute mit nicht so leistungstarken Sytemen sogar CTD.
                      Deswegen sind wir ja am Updaten des Fuhrparks, weil da doch einige "Korken" drin sind.

                      Bestimmt, aber ich wüßte jetzt nicht mit welchem Programm.
                      Aber wenn du ein originales Auto aus GTL als Vorbild nimmst und dir da die jeweiligen Mipmaplevels der Texturen anguckst, dann solltest du keine Probleme haben.

                      Moin.

                      Die Mipmaps siehst Du im GEditor.
                      Dort sollte unter dem Punkt MipMapLevel im rechten Menü eine 5 stehen.
                      Das bedeutet, das Du im DDS Konverter eine 6 eingeben musst.
                      Die Diskrepanz zwischen DDS Konverter und GEditor kommt meines erachtens daher, das der GEditor die Hauptgrafik nicht als MipMap interpretiert.
