When I started this thread we were told by you guys that we had to make do with the events we had and that only a few events would be different from the ETCC. You even admitted that events had not been planned because of your commitments to other things outside of GTL.

Now you are saying that you do have events for us that were planned 6 months ago and that will see us through to Xmas.

It doesn't take someone with much brain power to see that there are two largely conflicting stories here. Are you trying to take us ALL for fools??

Why would I have wasted all my time pushing for events if they were already planned?

My campaign has been for the good of the majority of drivers and not the minority you have been catering too. Am I wrong to do this and if so why?

There are guys here who run there own businesses and work at more important jobs than you guys yet you treat us all as if we don’t have a clue what is going on and speak to us like we are stupid children.

Every time you guys say something there are areas to pick big faults with and it appears you can’t even get your stories straight at times between yourselves.

All I asked for were some simple races for Thursday’s and Sunday’s and you have turned this into an epic.

Whilst I greatly admire all the great work you guys do I cannot put up with the hypocrisy & lies that are told. Either you have events planned or you don’t... you CAN’T have both. Perhaps you guys should take some training in public relations… and I really do not mean that as an insult but as an observation.

I believe in good honest plain speaking so that you know where you stand with me. Please have the courtesy to treat me the same way.

We really don´t know.
No one said, there are no events planned. You just had a hang on on series like ETCC or the Duell (BMW vs. Capri) and that there are no other events. But it wasn´t our comment.

We always have a calender, where every editor writes his ideas. And we mentioned since years, that every idea and help is welcome to fill this calender with your wishes.

Just an email to gtlevent@bierbuden.de and the thing is done.

I think, another fact is, that B8man had planned most events, also the complete ETCC. And me for example was busy with other stuff and did not complete the program with some events for non-cup-friends.

But for future, there will be more stuff in 4Fun-direction....till January

Yes that is right and what I have said from the very beginning.

We have the ETCC events and nothing else is planned.

This is a quote from the very first lines of my thread:

All we have now is the ETCC event which all or most of the Admin energy appears to go into.

This going around in circles is not good for a man of my age...

The poster for tonight's ETCC race now says "free server 2 with 1h race". Someone apparently felt like the hatchet had to be buried

Seriously, I think it's a step in the right direction. Even if I'm an endurance lover, I understand that some prefer shorter races, and there are enough servers to keep everyone happy.

Just to chip in and say that I very much enjoyed last nights "extra" server and hope this will become a permanent feature for all the endurance races.
Thanks to all responsible for this shift in policy. A dodgy back simply won't allow me to race that long.

Also while I'm here, I am not too fond of the 911 either and would very much welcome the chance to drive other cars around the GP tracks. Not to do away with the Supercup , but to have one server with other cars. If nobody races on it , fair enough , but I think it would prove very popular.

This thread had shown us that there are problems not just with the Admin but the way we take them for granted also.

There are no losers with the argument that has gone, but only winners. We have to help the Admin when we can with suggestions for events & weekly track choices etc, and in turn they will give us more of what we ask for. I personally think this is good for all of us.

The Admin are going to do there best to give us events on Thursday’s and Sunday’s as before and next year the 911 Supercup will be planned to incorporate a server for other cars on the same F1 circuits.

Last night the Admin put a server on for non ETCC competition drivers so that we could drive the same cars and track as them but with a race that lasted for one more manageable hour. This event was a great and very welcome surprise to me and those who participated and there was a full grid of 22 cars.

They are planning to do this whenever they run the ETCC competitions so look out for it please… great FUN!!

I think it is time now to close this thread.

hi all,

I simply thought of a type of event a bit far-fetched.

This post is only to take your opinions to the event, i didn´t propose it yet.

I thought a type of event like ETCC, with less laps, but with all the classes of vehicles envolved in the same race. Because it had all cars the participants have to register into a team.

Since the server gets 28 drivers, i thought divide 9 cars for each class.

This is only an idea that i had, please feel free to give your opinion, i am counting on them to put this idea to work.
