Actually we can all help Tom (MagicGrip) by being good and clear with all of our suggestions and don't expect Tom to answer every mail with a comment, just discuss them with other drivers on the Rookie thread and he will answer when he needs to.

By doing this Tom can monitor all the mail and work out the best plan for the next event. A happy Capi'tanooo Sloow is better than a grumpy snail, he he!

Your suggestion for next Monday:
Sachsenring 67 and the cars of TC-65. But I fear you will feel a bit lost on Sachsenring with an Abarth or a Mini. So please think about it.

Change in planning. Due to the F1-Final on Sunday evening, we're driving the Supercup final on Monday. So, there will be no Rookie-CLub Race on Monday. Should teh RCR take place on another day or should Sachsenring67 be delayed on next Monday.

Excuse me Magic Grip, I like run in the rookie race today but, how i know which car class select of the three cars? or I is posibble select any class and run?

And, I no run in rookie races in ultimate weeks, excuse me but is necesary to join in race send email to someone or now no?

Hi Urgozobi.

For the first race we all take a Ford Falcon. For the second race a Mercedes 300SL and for the last race a Porsche 911. You will not be able to take another car.

You do not need to send a PM or so. The password is on the poster and it is: "zusammen". Only for the big Rookie Races which we do now and then you need to ask for the password by PM.

Last night I had fun again at "Captain Slow" and the most of the Pros should have had fun too. But how about the Rookies? Those guys we want to do the event for? In each race after a few laps theres been only Pros on the track.

Okay some of us advanced very fast and could join the Pros anyway. But we shouldn´t forget the Newcomers and those among us that do not advance that fast.

I normally let you decide about the Event but we allways should pay attention that the cars and tracks are Rookie suitable. Instead of having fun most of the Rookies should have felt frustration last night.

Please never forget: FUN ist the best teacher!

I've been there yesterday for the first time and - I'm really a rookie Stopped the 1st race in lap 2 'cause of suspension damage. These bales of straw were really solid. The 2nd race, I even finished. At position 12 or 13, of course the last one. And the 3rd race was pretty cool. Starting at 13, I reached position 6 in lap 2 But somewhere in turn 4 or 5, I was "captured" beetween a fence and a hedge.

I decided to join the "Bude" and this event on sunday afternoon and started to download all the necessary cars and tracks. As I mostly drove by myself before, I had only the standard cars and tracks, on add-ons. But more than 19 hours later, the autoupdate-script finished dumping nearly 7GB on my hard disk. This should be the situation, most of "Buden"-rookies will experience. So, I had abolutely no knowledge about the Sachsenring track. The cars were standard cars, so I already had some kilometers on my mileage counter. Only a few at Ford Falcon, some more at 300SL and most at 911. But, as I stated before, the car isn't as importent as the track for a satisfactory rookie result

The rookie club of yesterday was really fine! I suppose, this was my best racing evening, I've ever had. And I'm looking forward the next weeks and months. And if You consider rookie needs a little bit more next time, there probably will be some more of my "brothers in skill" not logging off after crashing and drinking a barrel of beer to wash frustration away

Moin zusammen / Hi together,

@Tom: It was really fun for me, because I drove sometimes the Falcon, but never before the 300SL and 911 (just for testing)!

Unfortunately with Falcon I did a mistake on left turn where are the first buildings, and after some turn overs I found myself between some trees and bushes, and lost orientation about this! After I got a warning "Wrong direction" I turned into the correct one and started to hunt the last of the grid! Suddenly I was scared as I saw you in the middle of the road waiting for me! (Thanks for that! )


Finaly it was a good choice to change event during race, even after "Lowspeed" was stucking in the grass and we couldn't help him really.

On 300SL-Event I could not participate, because I had a loop while loading other drivers!?
It tooked a long time until I found that Standard-300SL #456 was missing on my installation!
I don't know how this could happen, because since the beginning I used the Autoupdater! Also "new installation"-button doesn't solve the problem!? Autoupdater always told me everthing is fine
As I had copied it to my installation, it was too late, race was started.

So I rejoined on 911. It was really fun!
But on round 7 I missed breakpoint for last turn and hit the telegraph rod at the beginning of pit lane: Engine off, bodywork damaged!

But all in all it was very funny as usual!

Additionally, as Stefan says, it would be nice if participants which out of race would stay in the garage to view some other skilled drivers until end of race! This is always very helpful for me too, because some of them maybe can tell me later what kind of mistakes I have done about line and breakpoints etc.

A little track guide for monday.
Nothing special, because this is track that is perfect for the snail races.
Just try to hit the apex on every corner.
For me there are two important points on the track.
A - A really tight 180° left - turn in late from the right side of the track and not too fast.
B - A long 180° left that is followed by another turn to the left C. You may be misled to take this too fast.
So slowly approach to the limit.

its been great fun again tonight. The BMW has been an amazingly good ride and the Elan of course. And the race with the Abarth has been pure fun (good close racing).

Some days ago Heizen Ltf suggested to drive the Toyota Corolla. We havn´t driven it yet and we could do a "1 car - 3 tracks" night again.

So my suggestion is:

Car: Toyota Corolla
Track: Mills / ...
vote for two more nice and rookie friendly tracks please.
